The OUT Foundation’s mission is to empower the LGBTQ+ students and alumni of Brigham Young University in achieving their intellectual, social, and professional potential.
The #OUTspoken stories project is a collection of experiences from the LGBTQ+ alumni of BYU-Provo, BYU-Idaho, BYU-Hawaii and Ensign College. Presented as first-person recollections of their lives during and after BYU, they illustrate there is no one way of being an LGBTQ+ alumni by showcasing the various paths we have taken. While our beliefs and experiences differ, we are united in being OUT as LGBTQ+ alumni and showing support for the current generation of queer students on campus.
